Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good afternoon!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a good week and your weekend holds some fun plans!  We are supposed to have thunderstorms and rain most of the weekend, so there won't be many outdoor activities for us, I don't think.  I am here now with my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz.  The themes this week is "anything goes" with the option to add a Christmas twist.  The twist is completely optional, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project.

Here is my card:

I decided to do the Christmas twist.  No time like the present to get a jump start on Christmas cards!  My card base and mats are SU Cherry Cobbler and the patterned papers are from the Pink Paislee Noel collection.  The beautiful image is The Gift by Norma J. Burnell available from Sweet Pea Stamps and Norma's Fairy Tangles Art Etsy Shop.  I colored it with my Copics.  I added lots of colors of Stickles for extra sparkle and I also added Gold Liquid Pearls to her necklace and the pearls in her hair.  A triple-loop seam binding bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Friday Coloring Challenge and check out the gorgeous creations from my talented teammies!  We hope you will find time to join us for the challenge!  This is the last week to get in on the fabulous prize from our June sponsor, Fairy Tangles Art (Norma J. Burnell).  Norma is offering the lucky winner three digis of their choice from her Fairy Tangles Art Etsy shop.  Go have a look at her awesome artwork!

Good afternoon!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you are having a good week so far!  We had strong storms last night that had us hunkered down most of the evening, but today we are back to sunny, hot and humid.  I guess that's to be expected in central Alabama this time of year!  I'm glad we have air conditioning, that's for sure!  I am popping in now to share my Little Miss Muffet DT card for the week.  It's Inspiration Thursday week, so you know the drill.  The Little Misses will be posting inspiration projects throughout the day over in the Little Miss Muffet Facebook group.  It's a great time to visit and see their fabulous creations with fun products from the Little Miss Muffet Stamps store.
