Copic/Promarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Hi again!  I'm up now and back with my DT card for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is the ever-popular "anything goes".  If you have been collecting our free calendar page templates all year, the December calendar page and printing instructions are available in the challenge thread.

Here is my "anything goes" card:

My card base and mats are SU Not Quite Navy and the patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Oxford 6x6 pad.  The fun vintage collage image is called "Oh Hell, No".  It's from our November CPC challenge sponsor, That's Fabulous!.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending card and colored it with my Copics.  I had a bit of trouble with my dark blue markers, so the pleats/folds on her dress are a little wonky, but I didn't have time to go back and redo the whole thing..  The sentiment is from the same digistamp set.  I sponged around the image with a bit of Antique Linen Distress Ink for a more aged look.  A Not Quite Navy taffeta bow, three Wild Orchid Crafts Open Roses and two sets of three ivory pearls finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to pop by the Copic/Promarker Challenge and check out the fabulous projects from my DT sistahs!  We hope you will play along in our last challenge of November.  As I mentioned, the November challenges were sponsored by Mischelle at That's Fabulous!.  One randomly-chosen participant in our challenges will win three digis and a paper pack from That's Fabulous!.  Mischelle's site appears to be under construction right now, but I'm sure it will be up soon.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Fab 'n Funky #150 (three of something - I used 3 flowers, and two sets of three pearls)
Crafting For All Seasons #41 (use flowers)
Friday Sketch Challenge #31 (sketch by Debra)

Here is the sketch, which I flipped one turn:

Have a terrific Friday and great weekend and I hope to see you soon!

Challenge Prizes:
A winner will be selected randomly and will win:
1. A $10.00 gift certificate from Guylou's online store
2. An invitation to be a Guest Designer on one of our upcoming challenges.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Turquoise Sea and the patterned papers are from the Jillibean Soup Winter Tortellini and Spinach Soup 6x6 pad.  My cute holiday image is Roger and Leah - Christmas 1 from Guylou's Inimitability.  I printed them on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored them with my Copics.  I used primarily turquoise, pink and brown for my non-traditional color combo.  Hopefully I won't get marked off for having just a smidge of red and green!  I added Stickles and Liquid Pearls here and there for some added sparkle and dimension.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from the recent Winter Club that Paulette shared.   I kept the embellishments to a minimum, but added a few iridescent pink gems to finish my card.

Here is a close-up of Roger and Leah:

Little Miss Muffet Challenge - Tag or Gift

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week so far!  Only one more day until the start of the weekend!  I know I'm ready, but I am getting a bit ahead of myself.  Thursday means it's time for my DT post for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  We have a new challenge starting today.  The theme this time is "tags or gifts".  How perfect is the theme for this time of year?  I don't know about you, but I am starting to stress a little about how close the Christmas holidays are and how few cards and gifts I have done!

I chose to do a tag for one of my Christmas gifts:

My tag base and mats are GKD Red Hot and the patterned paper is from the DCWV Winter Holiday 12x12 pad.  I love all the festive patterns in this pad and all the sparkle!  My adorable image is Swings 'n Slides Happy Mail from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added lots of sparkly accents with Stickles and Crystal Snow glitter.  The sentiment is a recent freebie from Paulette at Create With TLC.  I added a large snowflake cut out of turquoise glitter paper with a Marianne Design die.  Some lime green wrinkled ribbon finished off my tag.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the DT and our Guest Designer, Shelly.  We hope you will be inspired to play along!  You have until Tuesday, December 10 to enter your project.  If you use a Little Miss Muffet stamp, you can play along with "anything goes" as your theme.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp (anything goes)
The Corrosive Challenge #163 (anything goes)
Through The Craftroom Door Challenge #46 (anything goes)
Anything Goes Challenge #81 (tags)

Have a great day and hope to see you again soon!

Elisabeth Bell's World November/December Challenge

Good morning!  Happy Sunday!  Hope you've had a good weekend so far!  It's finally gotten chilly here, but the sun is still shining, so I can't complain.  Before I head out for the day, I am popping by to share my GDT card for the new monthly challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World.  The theme for November/December is "a different folding".  I chose to make a center step card for my different folding project.  It is simple to do but looks very special, at least to me.  And the great thing is it still fits in the standard envelopes I use for my regular square cards.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Cranberry Tart and the patterned papers are from the K & Co. Elizabeth Brownd Visions of Christmas 12x12 pad.  The adorable image is Belles 'n Whistles The Christmas Door from Elisabeth Bell.  I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Make it Colour Blending Card and colored with my Copics.  I added lots of Stickles to the ornaments on the tree and wreath, the poinsettia and her little petticoat.  Over the glitter on the ornaments, I added Glossy Accents to give them even more dimension.  I went over a few of the other details with Spica pens for a subtle shimmer.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It was part of Paulette's recent, and I must say fantastic, Winter Club.  Several adhesive pearls and a large silk bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by my blog!  Be sure to visit Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge and feast your eyes on the gorgeous creations from The Digi Bells DT and GDT!  You have until December 22  6 PM Arizona Time to join in on the challenge using any Elisabeth Bell image.  Hope you'll play along!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
One Stop Craft Challenge #206 (vintage Christmas)
Addicted-To-Stamps #44 (Christmastime)
Eclectic Ellapu #7 (celebrate with sparkle)
Crazy4Challenges #164 (put a bow on it)

The Digi Bells Guest DT

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  I have a very busy day ahead, but I am popping in to share the card I made for The Digi Bells Blog.  As one of this month's Guest DTs, it is my turn to showcase one of Elisabeth Bell's adorable digital stamps.  Since I am way behind with making my Christmas cards, that is what I did for today.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Lipstick Red and the patterned paper is from the Recollections Botanical Noel pad.  The sweet image is the new Elisabeth Digital stamp that was released from the vault last week.  She is called Holly's Happy Mail and she is available in the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection here.   I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics in traditional Christmas colors and matted her on some gold mirror card.  I added two Cheery Lynn diecuts (Border Carnivale and Tropical Flourish) cut from the same gold mirror card.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It was part of the Winter Club.  I matted that on mirror card, too.  A shimmery poinsettia from Jolee's finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Holly:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit The Digi Bells blog every day for wonderful inspiration from the DT and GDT!  You'll definitely want to check there later today to see if you were a winner from the November Release Blog Hop!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Good morning!  It's still morning, isn't it?  Things are a bit of a blur for me these days.  Hope everyone in the US had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends.  Are you shopping today?  I don't do Black Friday even if I could, but I'm still popping by real quick with a Black Friday card for you.  That's right, the theme for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge at The Outlawz is "shopping" - perfect timing for today!

Here is my DT card:

My card base and mats are SU Pear Pizzazz and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Merry 6x6 pad.  My cute shopping image is Dani with Gifts from Mo's Digital Pencil.  You can find it in Mo's store here.  I printed her on Cryogen White and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Stickles and Liquid Pearls here and there.  I added Snow Glitter to the trim on her coat and the snow on the ground for a little extra texture.  I sponged the sky with SU Soft Sky.  Some Pear Pizzazz seam binding and a few dimensional ornament stickers (K & Co. Grand Adhesions) finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/Promarker Challenge and check out the fabulous shopping creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will be inspired to play along!  Our November challenges are being sponsored by Mischelle at That's Fabulous!.  One randomly-selected participant in our challenges will win three digis and a paper pack of their choice from That's Fabulous!.  There are also lots of fantastic monthly site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

Little Miss Muffet Challenge - Textiles

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week!  Sorry I've been MIA again, but I have a family member who's been ill and there has not been any extra time for crafting or blogging.  Still, I couldn't miss my DT post for the new Little Miss Muffet Challenge! Yes, we have a new challenge starting this week and the theme is "textiles" - use fabric, lace, yarn, etc. on your creation.  There are so many possibilities for this one!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Blue Bayou and the patterned paper is from the K & Co. Elizabeth Brownd Christmas 12x12 pad.  I love that these papers can create a scene all on their own.  For my textiles, I cut and stitched a scrap of white felt over the snow in the scene to add dimension.  The cute winter image is Saffron from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  She was a freebie last year and I think she was my first LMM stamp!  I fell in love with all of the cute images at LMM and the rest is history!  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Stardust and Gun Metal Stickles to her skirt and coat buttons, White Opal Liquid Pearls to the pom poms on her scarf, and some white glitter to her hat brim and muff.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Enjoy The Snow set in Paulette's store here.  A few Jolee's sparkly snowflake stickers finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Saffron:

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the awesome creations from the rest of the DT and our Guest Designer for the challenge, Shari!  You have until Tuesday, November 27 to enter the challenge.  If you use a Little Miss Muffet stamp, you can enter with "anything goes" as your theme.  We hope you will play along!

And we also have a little bit of Little Miss Muffet Store news. Barbara will be heading out of town for several days. Therefore:
1. As digi orders will be slightly delayed, all digi orders will also receive a new, unrevealed, winter-themed digi image

2. Rubber and diecut orders will be shipped out on 27th November and will receive a free sentiment stamp. You can choose from Royal Decree or Sugar & Spice Sentiment. Please e-mail Barbara with your choice of free stamp at the time of ordering

Thankful For Heroes

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you are gearing up for a fun weekend!  I've had a lot going on this week and it sure has eaten into my crafting and blogging time.  I'm hoping the weekend brings a little down time for working in my craft room. Before getting going with my day, I'm here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge at The Outlawz.  The theme this time is Remembrance Day (tribute to veterans or any other special remembrance).  You must do some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand), but otherwise how you interpret the theme is up to you.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Green Apple and the papers are from the Authentique Loyal 6x6 pad.  While not really camouflage, I thought the colors and patterns of the papers still worked with the theme.  My adorable image is Soldier Boy from Mo's Digital Pencil.  You can find him in Mo's store here.  I printed him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I made the camouflage pattern on his clothes and hat by dabbing with my BG95, BG93 abd BG91 markers. The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.   A double-loop navy taffeta bow and a few stars punched from green glitter paper finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/Promarker Challenge and check out the beautiful creations from the rest of the DT!  I am sure you will be inspired to play along.  Our November challenges are being sponsored by Mischelle of That's Fabulous!.  One randomly-selected participant in our challenges will win 3 digis and a paper pack of their choice from That's Fabulous!.  And don't forget there are always lots of fantastic monthly site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter any of the challenges at The Outlawz.

2. An invitation to be a Guest Designer on one of our upcoming challenges
Our Guest Designer for this challenge is: Julie
Julie was the winner of our recent Weather challenge and was invited to join us this week. Check out her beautiful project on Guylou's Inimitability Blog.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Night of Navy and the two patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Moments 6x6 pad. I punched the borders of the vertical panel with an EK Success Fleur de Lis Edger Punch. My fun image is Lotus Traveling from Guylou's Inimitability.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Buttercup Liquid Pearls to her necklace, buttons and handbag handle.  I also added Glossy Accents to her glasses.  Of course, I had to add a feather to her hat! The image was cut out and matted with Spellbinders Petite Ovals dies. The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  Three Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Lotus:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit Guylou's Inimitability blog and check out the fantastic creations from the rest of the DT and our Guest Designer, Julie!  We hope you will be inspired to play along with us!

I am also entering my card in the following challenges:
Seems A Little Sketchy #25 (sketch)
Anything Goes #79 (anything goes)
Fab 'n Funky #145 (dies and punches)
Charisma Cardz #43 (2 patterned papers, 3 embellishments/flowers, 1 image/sentiment)

Have a great day and I'll be back later on with my DT card for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge at The Outlawz.
