Hi again!  I'm back with a quick post to share the card I made for a couple of challenges I like to do.  It is for Saturated Canary Challenge #27 (use office supplies), Sweet Sketch Wednesday #173 (sketch and celebrate women theme) and another for Jackson's Digital Expressions #24 (pink or breast cancer awareness).  Don't forget that Chana and a few other of the JDE DT members are donating $0.25 to breast cancer research for every entry in the challenge.  It's so generous of them to support this worthy cause!

Here is SSW-173:

Here is my card for the challenges:

My card base and mats are SU Purely Pomegranate and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two Blush 6x6 pad.  The great image is Boobie Love from Saturated Canary.  Krista generously shared it as a freebie back in March.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Stickles to the trim on her pants and tee shirt and the rose in her hair.  I added a touch of Glossy Accents to her lips.  The sentiment is from the Help For Katie 2 fund-raising collection from last year. I colored the pink ribbon with Copics and added Cotton Candy Stickles to it.  A couple of pink paper clips and a pink BCA ribbon charm finished my card.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Red Hot and the berry patterned papers are from the GKD Berries and Vines 6x6 pack.  My sweet image is Queens Cutie from Kenny K.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added a bit of Red Stickles to her pendants.  She was cut out and popped up on a Spellbinders Scalloped Circle frame.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  Three Wild Orchid Crafts blossoms and a bunch of red pearls from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

My card is also for Kenny K.'s Krafty Krew #112 (hey fruity - use fruit or fruit colors) and Sunday Sketch and Stamp #125 (sketch).

Little Miss Muffet Stamps - New Release

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  It's the wee hours of Thursday, but Thursday just the same.  If Blogger is my friend today, you are seeing my Guest Designer post for Little Miss Muffet Stamps!  I have had a marvelous time guesting with the amazingly-talented DT this month!  And here's some very exciting news!  I've been asked to stay on as a full-time member of the Little Miss Muffet Design Team!  I am thrilled to say the least!  So stay tuned for my LMM posts every Thursday now!  Anyway, today Little Miss Muffet Stamps is releasing the new Build-A-Monster collection.  Wait until you see this super fun set! There are 11 monsters that were created from the Build-A-Monster Elements Packs A and B.  You can purchase the pre-made monsters, the Elements Packs or the whole kit and kaboodle, the Build-A-Monster Complete Package that comes with all the elements (90), as well as 10 premade monsters!  There is no end to the possibilities for this awesome collection!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Chocolate Chip and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Archaic 6x6 pad.  I thought the funky patterns went well with my cutie monster!  The monster was built in Photoshop with a body, arms, legs, ears, horns, eyes and a mouth from the Build-A-Monster Complete Package.  I printed my monster on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I added a little texture to his fur with Prismacolor Pencils and a bit of sparkle here and there with Spica pens.  The fun sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Beware Halloween set in Paulette's store here.  A few pearls from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up:

My card is also for Sketch Saturday #226, Love To Create #34 (anything goes), Through The Craftroom Door #37 (anything goes), Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #29 (design a card for a kiddie) and Simon Says Stamp (anything goes).

Courage

Hi again!  This is my second post today so if you are looking for my Heartfelt Creations Design Team Alumni Blog Hop card, please click here or scroll down one post.  I'm back to share a card I made for a couple challenges.  It is for Challenge #24 at Jackson's Digital Expressions (pink or breast cancer awareness) and Papertake Weekly Challenge (use Sketch 72 or another PTW sketch).  Chana and some of the other DT members at Jackson's Digital Expressions are each going to donate $0.25 toward breast cancer research for every entry in the challenge!  I know they'd like to see as many entries as possible.  In addition, Lesia, another of the JDE DT members, plans to donate $10.00 for every 40 entries in the October challenges on her blog, Mema's Crafts.  You can find the details there.

Here is Sketch 72 from Papertake Weekly:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Pink Pirouette.  I layered the sketch panels with patterned papers from the Authentique Delightful and Echo Park Victoria Garden 6x6 pads.  I made my image panel oval instead of square. My breast cancer awareness image is Gabrielle with Ribbon from Guylou's Inimitability.  You can find her in Guylou's store here.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card (yay, it finally arrived) and colored her with my Copics.  I added both Stickles and regular glitter to the ribbon and her wings for a little extra sparkle and texture.   Her wings really look fluffy in real life.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from the Believe Hope set in Paulette's store here.  A triple-loop satin bow and a few iridescent pink gems finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Gabrielle:

Heartfelt Creations Design Team Alumni Blog Hop

Good morning!  Happy Tuesday!  It's the last Tuesday of the month which means it's time for another Heartfelt Creations Design Team Alumni blog hop!  Each month, several former Heartfelt Creations designers get together and share projects made with some of our favorite Heartfelt Creations products.  If you arrived here from Marsha's wonderful blog, you are in the right place. If not, you'll want to go Olga's blog and hop from there since Olga is the first stop on the hop and you definitely won't want to miss any of the team's gorgeous creations!

Here is my card for the hop:

This is a bit different than my usual style.  Don't faint - there is no patterned paper or coloring on today's card!  I wanted to get a start on my Christmas cards and I always need a few that are more elegant than whimsical.  I started with a 5x7 card base of GKD Heavy Base Weight Ivory cardstock. The next layer is the largest of the Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles dies.  I stamped the script from Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3428 Script Christmas Tree PreCut Set with Versamark and heat embossed with Gold Ultrafine Embossing Powder.  I created a window frame with a Spellbinders Floral Ovals die.  I stamped the poinsettia flowers from HCPC 3415 Petite Poinsettias Set onto GKD Layering Weight Ivory with Versamark and heat embossed with gold EP.  The individual flowers were cut out with Spellbinders Layered Poinsettias dies and shaped and layered to create a 3-D poinsettia flower.  I added a few burgundy pearls to the flower center.   A bow of Burgundy May Arts silk ribbon and a few ivory pearls on the frames finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by! Your next stop on the hop is Tesa's fantastic blog.  Be sure to leave a comment on every blog as you hop because one comment will be chosen at random from one of the blogs and the lucky commenter will win a $25 gift certificate for the Heartfelt Creations store!  You have until Friday, September 28th at midnight EDT to add your comment.  The winner will be announced on our blogs by noon on Saturday, September 29th.

If you get lost along the way, here is the whole line-up for the hop:
Olga
Dina
Lisa
Marsha
Carla (you are here)
Tesa
Linda

Have a great day and hope to see you again soon!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats for all the layers are SU Basic Black. I layered with patterned papers from the Authentique Journey and Echo Park Victoria Garden (music) 6x6 pads.  The fun image is Rock Chick, a digi stamp from Kenny K.  I printed her on X-Press it and colored her with my Copics.  The guitar sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  It's also colored with Copics.  Three strips of metal studs from one of my Webster's Pages Trim Cards (sorry, not sure which one) finished my card.

Here is a close up of the image:

My card is also for Kenny K.'s Krafty Krew Challenge #111 (black and white + 1 color), Friday Sketch Challenge #26 and Divas by Design #53 (lovely layers - at least 4).

Fairy Happy Birthday

Hi again!  Sure didn't expect to be back so soon, but I snuck into my craft room  and managed to finish a card I was working on.  If you are looking for my Little Miss Muffet GDT card, please scroll down one post.  This card I'm sharing was made for a bunch of challenges:  Sweet Sketch Wednesday #172 (sketch), Whoopsi Daisy Challenge (make it girly), and a few challenges that all had the exact same theme (things with wings) - Love to Create #33, Digital Tuesday #178, Fab 'n' Funky Challenges #139, Charisma Cardz #37 and Crafting For All Seasons #36.

Here is SSW-172:

Here is my card:

My cards base and mats are SU Bashful Blue and the patterned papers are from the Prima Meadow Lark 6x6 pad.  My sweet fairy image is from Whoopsi Daisy.  Linnie generously shared her as a freebie awhile back.  I printed her on Canson Watercolor Paper and colored her with Distress Inks (Antique Linen, Tattered Rose, Scattered Straw, Salty Ocean, Worn Lipstick and a little Milled Lavender). I added Star Dust Stickles to her wings and boots, Diamond Stickles to the butterflies and Fruit Punch Stickles to her bodice.  The sentiment is from Guylou's Inimitability.  It is a free sentiment when you purchase Starla in the GI store here.  Some satin ribbon and a few Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Little Miss Muffet Challenge - Anything But Square

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Again, it's super early for me (meaning I'm still sleeping), but I'm here to share my Guest Designer card for the new challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps Challenge blog.  I am having so much fun designing with the amazingly talented LMMS DT this month!  This theme for the new challenge is "anything but a square (or rectangle) card".

Here is my creation:

I used SU Purely Pomegranate for my scallop circle easel card and I layered the circles with patterned paper from the Bo Bunny Ambrosia 6x6 pad.  My main image is La Jeune Fille de L'Eventail from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I stamped her on Neenah Solar White and colored her with my Copics.  I have her seated on the Victorian Chaise image from Make it Crafty.  The chaise was printed on Neenah Solar White and also colored with Copics.  I cut them both out and popped them up on foam tape.  I added Stickles to her fan, brooch, and hat and Liquid Pearls to the detail on her hat and in her hair.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  A few flowers from my stash as an easel stop finished my card.

Here is a close-up of La Jeune Fille:

My card is also for Through The Craftroom Door challenge #36 (always anything goes) and Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #28 (anything goes).

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the gorgeous creations from the LMMS DT!  We hope you will be inspired to play along with the "anything but a square" challenge or "anything goes" if you use a Little Miss Muffet stamp.  You have until Tuesday, October 2nd to join in on the fun!

Have a great day and see you soon!

To Err Is Human

Good morning!  Happy Tuesday!  It's another early start for me, but I'm popping in to share the card I made for new Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge.  This week's challenge is being sponsored by Guylou's Inimitability, so I just had to play along with one of Guylou's fun images!

Here is TMS-164:

Here is my card:

I used SU Not Quite Navy for my card base and mats.  The patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Indie Chic Nutmeg 6x6 pad.  My fun image is Singing Pirate from Guylou's Inimitability.  You can find him in Guylou's store here.  I printed him on Neenah Solar White and colored him with my Copics.  The cute sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  Some narrow stitched ribbon and a few gold pearls from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

My card is also for this week's Simons Says Stamp Challenge (we're so trendy - use chevrons, hexagons or neon).  I used chevrons.

Thanks for stopping by!  As soon as I've had my coffee, I'll be back to check out your blogs!

La Vie Est Belle

Good morning!  Happy Monday!  Well, it's just barely Monday as this posts and hopefully Blogger is doing it for me since I think (hope) I am still sleeping.  I am here to share my Guest Designer card for Seems A Little Sketchy #22.  I am honored to have been one of their guest designers for the month of September.   The new challenge is being sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs.  I was generously provided with a SSD digi stamp to use for my card.

Here is SALS-22:

Here is my card:

I used SU Bordering Blue cardstock for my card base and mats.  The patterned papers are from the Prima En Francais 6x6 pad.  My fun Sassy image is France Honey from the It's A Small World-2 collection that was released in August.  You can find her here.  I printed her on Neenah Solar White and colored her with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  A few buttons tied with Baker's Twine and a double-loop grosgrain bow finished my card.

The Journey

Hi again!  I've been running around all day, but I decided to take a breather and pop back to post the card I made for this week's challenge at Jackson' Digital Expressions.  The theme is always "anything goes", but the twist this week is to make a CAS card.

Here is my CAS design:

It doesn't get much more CAS for me!  The chic image is The Traveler from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson.  It can be found in the Females Section of Robert's store here.  I printed her right onto my card base and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Aqua Stickles to her shoes, handbag and earrings and some Glossy Accents to her sunglasses.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  I thought it was perfect for this image.

Well, that's it for me.  Quickest post ever for me, wouldn't you agree?

Thanks for stopping by again!  Have a great night and hope to see you soon!

My card base and mats are GKD Cranberry Tart.  The patterned papers are from the Memory Box Mistletoe 6x6 pad.  My sweet Mo's image is Christmas Fairy Holly.  You can find her in Mo's store here.  I printed her on Fabriano Aquarello Extra White and colored her with Distress Inks for a soft look (Skin: Antique Linen, Tattered Rose; Hair: Scattered Straw, Vintage Photo; Holly: Bundled Sage; Dress and Shoes: Aged Mahogany, Tumbled Glass; Bells and Snowglobe: Gathered Twigs, Scattered Straw, Tumbled Glass).  I added Gold Stickles to the Bells, Red Stickles to the berries and lots of Star Dust Stickles to the bottom of her dress and the snowglobe.  I finished the image with a coat of Glossy Accents on the snowglobe, over the Stickles. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Enjoy The Snow set in Paulette's store here. Some ruffled seam binding, a button and a bit of Baker's Twine finished my card.
