It's All About Me

Good morning!  Happy Memorial Day to everyone celebrating here in the US!  It's been a busy weekend and I only have quick minute to pop in and share the card I made for this week's Jackson's Digital Expressions Challenge (Anything Goes #5 - optional sketch and use two colors).

Here is the sketch:

Here is my card for the challenge:

I did use the sketch but tweaked the base card shape from rectangle to square.  I mainly used shades of two colors, browns and blues.  I started with a card base of SU chocolate Chip and layered with patterned papers from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two Bloom 6x6 pad.  My fun image is Lil Cowgirl from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson.  I printed her on Cryogen White and colored her with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  Some Baker's Twine and a button from my stash finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Enjoy the rest of your day and hope to see you again soon!

  8. Carla, this is just gorgeous! Linda says the image looks like Patsy Cline and as a Patsy fan, I say, "I Fall To Pieces" each time I see your beautiful work! Is Creative Envy a sin? (LOL)

  23. This is so fun. It is the perfect image for a woman of the south. My neighbor packs some heat like this and it cracks me up because the gun is bigger than her. Great coloring. I will catch up soon. Hugs.
