Friday Coloring Challenge -The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  I hope your week went well and you have some fun and exciting plans for the holiday weekend!  It is dark and rainy here again today.  We are hoping it will be better tomorrow so we can at least check out the local fireworks.  Before getting on with the day, I am here with my DT post for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz.  The theme this week is "4th of July or patriotic or simply red, white and blue." You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project to enter.

Here is my red, white and blue card:

My card base and mats are SU Real Red and the patterned papers are from the Gina K. Designs Berries and Vines 6x6 paper pack.  The sweet image is Picking Strawberries by Lemon Shortbread from Sweet Pea Stamps.  I colored her with my Copics.  The sentiment was computer-generated.  A fun little ribbon and button embellishment finished my card.

Good afternoon!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a good week and your weekend holds some fun plans!  We are supposed to have thunderstorms and rain most of the weekend, so there won't be many outdoor activities for us, I don't think.  I am here now with my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz.  The themes this week is "anything goes" with the option to add a Christmas twist.  The twist is completely optional, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project.

Here is my card:

I decided to do the Christmas twist.  No time like the present to get a jump start on Christmas cards!  My card base and mats are SU Cherry Cobbler and the patterned papers are from the Pink Paislee Noel collection.  The beautiful image is The Gift by Norma J. Burnell available from Sweet Pea Stamps and Norma's Fairy Tangles Art Etsy Shop.  I colored it with my Copics.  I added lots of colors of Stickles for extra sparkle and I also added Gold Liquid Pearls to her necklace and the pearls in her hair.  A triple-loop seam binding bow finished my card.

Good afternoon!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you are having a good week so far!  We had strong storms last night that had us hunkered down most of the evening, but today we are back to sunny, hot and humid.  I guess that's to be expected in central Alabama this time of year!  I'm glad we have air conditioning, that's for sure!  I am popping in now to share my Little Miss Muffet DT card for the week.  It's Inspiration Thursday week, so you know the drill.  The Little Misses will be posting inspiration projects throughout the day over in the Little Miss Muffet Facebook group.  It's a great time to visit and see their fabulous creations with fun products from the Little Miss Muffet Stamps store.

Here is my project:

My card base and mats are SU Vintage Violet and the patterned papers are from the Webster's Pages Western Romance Petite Papers pack.  The fun image is Celeste Amberglow Yeehaw by Pollycraft from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I colored her with my Copics then added Stickles here and there for a little sparkle for this cute cowgirl.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I've also glittered it up with Stickles.  A gingham bow and little metal star charm finished my card.
