Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  The weekend is nearly here and for those in the US, it's Memorial Day weekend with an extra day off!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend! I've got a lot going on today, so I'll make my post brief.  I am here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "one layer cards".  We want to see images colored on the card base or no more than one layer above the card base.  Don't forget that there must be coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

This was a really hard challenge for me!  As you know, I love my patterned papers and layers and I rarely go the CAS route with my cards.  The image and sentiment are from the Write, Paint, Create set by 2 Cute Ink for Whimsy Stamps.  Heidi, from 2 Cute Ink, is sponsoring our challenges for the month of May.  I stamped the image and sentiment directly on the card base of XPress-It Card and colored the image with my Copics. I added some Fruit Punch Stickles to the pool of paint and tip of the paintbrush for a little sparkle.  That is it!  Clean and simple - lol!

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the fantastic CAS creations from the rest of the DT!  They do this style far better than me, as you will see!  We hope you will play along!  As I mentioned, our May challenges are being sponsored by 2 Cute Ink.  One randomly-selected participant in this month's challenges will win three digistamps of their choice from Heidi's 2 Cute Ink store.  There are also lots of site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

I am entering my card in the following challenge:
Sentimental Sundays #155 (clean and simple with a sentiment on front)

Have a great day and weekend and see you soon!

My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned papers are from the Nikki Sivils It's Raining, It's Pouring collection.  The adorable image is Fancy Sunbonnet Umbrella from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some sky and grass, also with my Copics.  I added some Glossy Accents to the puddle and raindrops and a few polka dots with my Sharpie White Paint Pen. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I finished my card with the Birds on a Wire diecut that was just released.

Style Is Eternal

Hello.  It's the end of the weekend and the first chance I've had to create anything new.  Sorry that I haven't visited either.  I am still trying to catch up when I can.  I am popping in quickly to share a card I made to preview a beautiful new set in Paulette's Create With TLC store.

And here is my creation using this set:

My card base and mats are SU Soft Sky and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Serenade 6x6 pad. I printed the vintage collage on X-Press It Card and colored it with my Copics.  The sentiment is also from Create With TLC.  It is from the Retail Therapy set in Paulette's store here.  Some vintage lace and a few mulberry paper roses from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up:

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to be catching up on my blogging tomorrow, so see you soon!

Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you are ready for a fun weekend ahead!  I'm still dealing with things other than crafting right now, so I have to keep this brief, but I wanted to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "cute and cuddly".  You can interpret this as you wish, but please remember you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is what I came up with:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are from the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss 6x6 pad.  The darling image is Freddy from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I added a few white pearl accents with my Viva Decor Ice White Pearl Pen.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some Bermuda Bay dotted ribbon and a few buttons from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the adorable creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will play along!  The May challenges are being sponsored by 2 Cute Ink.  One randomly-selected participant in this month's challenges will win their choice of three digistamps from the 2 Cute Ink store.

Little Miss Muffet Challenge #61 - Color Challenge

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a great week so far!  Sorry I've been MIA again.  I've had a family medical emergency and there's been no time to craft or blog this week.  I still wanted to share my DT card for this week's Little Miss Muffet post.  We have a brand new challenge this week and it's a color challenge.  We want to see "Kraft, Red and White" for your projects.

Here is my card:

Given that I was short on time this week, I went with a really simple design.  My card base and mats are SU Crumb Cake and the patterned papers are from the Little Yellow Bicycle Just Because 6x6 pad.  The cute image is BBQ Chester from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I printed him on X-Press It Card and colored him with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from the BBQ Word Art set in Paulette's store here.  A couple of coordinating ribbon tabs and a few Kraft-colored pearls finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the DT and our wonderful guest designers, Yoshira, Petra and Cathy!  We hope you will play along!  You have until Tuesday, May 28 to enter your creation.  If you use a Little Miss Muffet stamp or any Pollycraft image, you can enter as "anything goes" and enter as many times as you'd like.  If not, please follow the theme and enter only once.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
